The Alto Sangro area is full of trails of different difficulty levels, allowing every guest to experience the mountains at their own pace, from easy walks surrounded by nature to more challenging excursions through woods and breathtaking views.

Summer chairlift
You can reach Monte Pizzalto by taking the chairlift located behind the hotel. At the end of the ride, you can follow the trail leading to Baita Paradiso, located at approximately 1,800 metres above sea level, where you can enjoy an outdoor lunch surrounded by mountain views.
The chairlift also provides access to the Bike Park, with routes dedicated to mountain bike and downhill enthusiasts.
Summer 2026 opening: weekends in July, Saturday and Sunday, and every day during the month of August.
Discover the cycling trails
Hotel Pizzalto is ideal for cycling lovers who wish to explore the wonderful mountain trails. Thanks to its privileged location, Hotel Pizzalto offers direct access to a wide network of cycling routes suitable for all skill levels.

In this enchanting part of the forest, there is a stage for outdoor theatre, suitable for both adults and children, easy to walk through and surrounded by a fairytale atmosphere.
The route is about 800 metres long and features sculptures and installations depicting elves, fairies, sprites, gnomes, trolls, a “mouth of truth” and the Talking Stone.
Duration of the route: about 15/30 minutes, with a gentle uphill section. The route starts from the Aremogna cable car square, Pallottieri, and continues up to Baita Paradiso.
